2009/2010 Ministry Plan

On Sunday, May 31, we will be voting on the Ministry Budget for 2009/2010. Many prayers have been prayed over the last several months through Prayer Force and other avenues to develop a plan that is right for our church in the coming year.

We are faced with difficult economic news. To reflect the reality of the times, this budget comes in $80,000 below last year’s budget. Nationwide ministry giving has decreased. However, the people of Alice Drive have continued to give and God has blessed us with an increase in our giving of 2.5% over last year.

Together we can reach and even exceed this goal if we are faithful in our giving. If you have never given before – step in and give; if you are already giving – step up and give by faith; if God has blessed you – step out and give from your abundance. We each have a step to take and I challenge you to take that step over the next year.

Church Conference

There will be a called church conference March 11, 2009, at 7:00 PM in McManus Hall. The conference is to consider a motion from the deacons to increase the number of active deacons from 33 to 36 beginning with the 2009/2010 season. Please mark your calendar to attend this special meeting.
