What a day at Alice Drive!

This morning we baptized six and attendance was well over 1100.

The Worship Center has been transformed into Camp Kids Rock for VBS 2009. The volunteers did an outstanding job and deserve a lot of thanks for countless hours preparing for this week.

The numbers just came in for the first night of VBS and the total is...800. A new all-time high for VBS at Alice Drive. I wonder what the rest of the week will bring?

Who do you need to invite to attend the rest of the week. It's not to late to come join the fun.

Vacation Bible Spectacular

VBS starts tomorrow night. If you haven't already registered, it's not too late. You can register by either going to www.adbc.org or signing up at the registration desk in the lobby at the church. Check in begins tomorrow night at 5:30. VBS will run from 6:00 to 8:30 each night.

Thursday night we will wrap up the VBS week with Kids Blitz. Last year we had a great night with the Kidz Blitz team. If you have never experienced Kidz Blitz, it is a night of using fun and games to present the Gospel in a way children can understand. Over 20 children accepted Christ during the Kidz Blitz presentation. last year.

If you are bringing children to VBS each night, let me invite you to save some gas and spend the evening at the church. We will have a Wi-Fi station set up on the porch with a seating area and lemonade, water and tea to drink. If you have some work to do or just want to spend some time relaxing bring your laptop or a book and spend the evening with us while your children are having a Spectacular time inside.
