Alice Drive Baptist Church exists to help as many people as possible take their next step toward Jesus Christ. We do this by helping them Know Jesus, Know Community, Grow Character and Go Share.
Over the next 4 weeks we have an opportunity to Go Share with our community. We are partnering with United Ministries of Sumter County for the annual Gear Up For Learning drive. This is an effort to raise school supplies for the coming year for those in our community who are less fortunate.
We have pledged to contribute 900 book bags and 1,550 bundles of pencils (9 pencil bundles). Beginning this Sunday there will be cards on the back wall of the Worship Center with these items on them. Take a card and bring the item back between now and August 2.
Together we can share what God has blessed us with as we help the children of Sumter get ready for a great year of learning.

Helps Ministry
The mission of Alice Drive Baptist Church is to help as many people as possible take their next step toward Jesus Christ. We do this by helping them Know Jesus, Know Community, Grow Character and Go Share.
The HELPS Ministry desires to share their gifts, talents and time with those who are in need. Jesus tells us to take care of widows, orphans and the least of these. What does that look like in today's world? There are certainly widows and orphans in our community. HELPS aims to assist them when needed with the necessities of life. There is also a desire to help the least of these, whether they are in need because of financial reasons or through the circumstances of life. HELPS desires to help in the areas of light home repairs, auto repair, mechanical repairs, volunteering in other community organizations, tutoring after school and many other areas of need. These are just a few of the areas we feel God leading us with this ministry.
How can you be a part?
On Sunday, September 28, there will be representatives from the HELPS ministry under the front porch to answer questions and share their passions to serve with you. On October 5 following the First Sunday service, we will be holding an organizational meeting to kick off this ministry, to dream and to plan for the future. Join us for this time and discover how you can be a part of this exciting, new ministry as we Go Share with our community. We all have a role to serve in helping others take their Next Step toward Jesus. Is HELPS your place to serve?

Go Share
Alice Drive Baptist Church exists to help as many people as possible take their next step toward Jesus Christ. We do this by helping then Know Jesus, Know Community, Grow Character and Go Share.
On Sunday, February 17, 2008, a sister church in our community was destroyed by fire. While the church building is no longer standing, the church - Hillcrest Baptist Church - is still alive. They are going to rebuild.
During the morning service Sunday a challenge was issued to our people to give an over and above offering to help Hillcrest rebuild. The people of ADBC responded, together we gave over $5,400.00.
Thank you for being a church that is willing to Go Share the resources that God has blessed you with to help the Kingdom go forward.
